SINCERELY HIDDEN
Sincerely hidden (OPRECHT VERBORGEN) is the art book, which will be published in April 2024, in which Gini and Jan van Leeuwen connect drawings and poems.
This joint work deals with themes such as our need for connection, the complexity in relationships and showing yourself in all your vulnerability.
This is what you can expect: “The colours and lines of Gini’s drawings flow naturally into Jan’s words, as it were, and together give a visual meaning to hidden layers.
The imaginative language and poetic illustrations give the reader a unique experience and mirror what is going on in their own lives.”

CERAMIC EXPO JUNE 24TH 2023
STADSKANT will be celebrating its 1.5 anniversary on September 2nd!
To celebrate this, they asked 20 artists exhibit again in their creative hub. For two months, from 1 July to 2 September, they will show their latest work.
Since the opening of STADSKANT, creating interaction, connection and cross-fertilization throughout disciplines, has been the purpose of the founders.
This summer there is a great diversity of disciplines to view: Paintings, objects, sculptures, photography, ceramics and installations. On show two paintings by me: ‘All caries me’ and ‘Lifted’, two new canvases (100 x 100 cm).

CERAMIC EXPO JUNE 24TH 2023
Every Monday I work in the ceramics workshop of the SKVR, Rotterdam. Together with my fellow ceramists we organized an exhibition to show how much we love working here on the most beautiful creations. For this day we were inspired by a self-chosen poem. Location: Scots International Church, Schiedamse Vest 121, Rotterdam.

From 14 October you can view and buy Gini’s current works at STADSKANT for four weeks. You will find a selection of her paintings, drawings and ceramic objects. You can also get cards and prints of her art. The central theme is ‘Embracing’. About embracing difficulties, conflicts, pain, contradictions and vulnerability. And allowing duality into life. To feel all raw and pure .
STADSKANT is an inspiring place for flex – working, exhibitions and all kinds of events. “Surrounded by art in your workplace and meeting with a nice cup of coffee. For buying jewelry, art or interior advice, STADSKANT is also the place to be. Visit the showroom and be amazed.”
